Medical Records Review Service, Inc.
As a Registered Nurse, Lorna's experience includes
Adult Intensive Care, Cardiac Critical Care, Special Care Unit
and Home Health Care. Here at MRRS, she oversees the analysis,
interpretation, and written summary of medical cases.
In 1999, Lorna gained national certification in
the field of Legal Nurse Consulting by meeting the requirements
and passing the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants'
national certification exam. The American Bar Association, American
Board of Nursing Specialties and the American Nurses' Association
recognize this certification.
In1996, Lorna founded LML Medical-Legal Consulting,
which merged with MRRS on August 25, 1999. The companies' common
principles of integrity and superior product, created an opportunity
to expand services to clients in a manner consistent with each
firm's professional values.
In the 1980s and 1990s, Lorna worked for Midwest
Research Institute in Kansas City, Missouri and Ambico, Inc of
Dallas Center, Iowa. Her medical research experience includes
immunogenicity and toxicity studies of vaccines, as well as the
study of metabolism and toxicity of anti-cancer and anti-AIDS
compounds. This experience has given her a unique perspective
for the critical analysis of published results from research studies.
Since joining MRRS, she co-developed original
contributions made to Evidence in Negligence Cases, 10th
Edition, Releases 2 & 3, authored by Thomas A. Moore of Kramer,
Dillof, Livingston & Moore Law Firm, New York City. And recently,
she co-developed contributions to Thomas A. Moore's new book Medical
Malpractice: Discovery and Trial, 7th Edition, February 2002.
And in December of 2005, her new primer was released, "Proving Conscious Pain and Suffering: Harnessing the Medical Evidence" , Law Bulletin Publishing Company, Chicago, IL.
Lorna is on the faculty of the Marino Institute

Pain and Suffering. She has presented this topic across the
country to legal conferences and law associations. The outline
for this topic, and others, can be viewed on our Lecture Series
